The RX 9070 XT is one of the best graphics cards for 1440p and 4K gaming, even rivaling the RTX 5070 Ti when it comes to raw performance in some games. It’s built on RNDA 4 architecture and boasts improvements to ray tracing performance and AI capabilities, and has impressive features like FSR 4, which can help further enhance gaming performance. It does have 16GB of VRAM; however, it’s GDDR6, which means it’s slower than the GDDR7 found in most of Nvidia’s 50-series lineup. It features 8 cores and 16 threads, so it’s adept at handling anything from video editing to streaming, and has a high 5.3GHz boost clock speed ad large 32MB L3 cache, which can push fps at the RX 9070 XT’s target resolutions, with low frame latency. What’s more, it has a low TDP of 65W, so it’s more efficient than some of the X variants and runs cooler, putting less demand on the prebuild’s cooling system, and making for a better pick for quieter builds.
RAM and storage
You’ve got 32GB of DDR5 here, which is very good for the price, and will help ensure that your overall gaming and computing experience feels snappy and responsive. For storage, there’s a 1TB SSD, which is fine for most people and means you’re not paying extra for space you may or may not use.
