43rd Annual Music Faculty Scholarship Concert Raises Over $7,000 for Student Scholarships

The William Floyd School District Music Department recently continued one of its most beloved traditions in hosting the 43rd annual Music Faculty Scholarship concert before a packed crowd! This fun-filled evening, which resulted in raising more than $7,000 in student scholarships for seniors who will pursue music education in college, featured many of the district’s talented music teachers and staff teaming up to perform a selection of hit songs for the William Floyd community! This year’s concert ranked as one of the most successful in its history!

“This event has always been a popular tradition for our school community,” said Dr. Amy Sckipp, coordinator of music, William Floyd School District. “Our music faculty volunteers countless hours of preparation to perform for our students and their families. Every year, they strive to put on an even more amazing show! You wonder how they can top the last year and then they do! Floyd Music is one of a kind.”
