Demi Moore Shares Secret Behind “Incredible” Bob Hair Transformation at MFW

Demi Moore surprised fans by attending Milan Fashion Week with a bob last Friday, swapping out her signature long tresses for a chic, chin-length style. At a Los Angeles event celebrating her partnership with Kérastase two days ago, the Oscar nominee opened up about her viral hair transformation, which presumably involved a wig.

Per Page Six, Moore called the short-lived makeover an “incredible moment,” adding that she enjoyed “being able to play.” The actress also described it as “[stepping] into another facet” of her personality. At the same event, Moore confirmed that she hadn’t actually cut her hair after showing up with her typical hip-grazing mane.

She wore a blue knit sweater and green blazer with a miniskirt, which featured a small train that extended past her knees. The Substance star completed her outfit with some simple black pumps.

Attending Gucci’s runway presentation on February 27, Moore paired a damp bob with leather separates, modeling a tight-fitting jacket and skinny trousers featuring slits up the ankles. Some oversized shield sunglasses, along with a handbag and stilettos adorned with Gucci’s signature Horsebit hardware, topped off her edgy ensemble.

Hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos recently told InStyle about his vision for Moore’s shocking short hair transformation.

“I wanted to give Demi a very bold and fashion-forward look for Demna’s show,” he shared, referencing the creative director’s runway debut with the Italian house.

“It is inspired by the silhouettes of the new collection. I felt an amazing, short, above the shoulder bob with this very sleek, wet texture would be perfect to complement her look,” Giannetos added. “It’s a big change for Demi—we’ve never seen her like this before! She looks very cool, effortless, and modern. And it highlights her personality.”
