The Epic Games Store has launched its first free game promotion for March, giving PC players another title to add to their libraries. Replacing last week’s offer, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is now available at no cost for a limited time. Players have seven days to claim the indie game and keep it permanently on their Epic Games Store account.
This title serves as the sequel to Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion from 2021. In this new adventure, the vegetable antihero teams up with a criminal crew to pull off daring bank heists. Developed by Snoozy Kazoo, the roguelite action game challenges players to grab as much cash as possible within a three-minute window before intense shootouts break out with responding law enforcement.
Players take part in a chaotic single-player experience filled with risky robberies, quick escapes, and plenty of comedic moments. The action unfolds inside the Botanical Bank, where you’ll explore its depths, intimidate hostages, and steal valuable loot. Each run features procedurally generated layouts, ensuring that every heist feels different and requires players to adapt their strategy as unexpected situations arise.
Meanwhile, the studio is already working on another entry in the series. A prequel titled Turnip Boy Steals the Mail is currently in development, exploring the earlier events that launched the character’s criminal career. Like previous games in the series, it will also experiment with a different gameplay style.
In addition to the free title, Epic is offering extra content for a free-to-play game as well. Players of Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms can claim the Raistlin’s Renown Pack, which developer Codename Entertainment says includes more than $100 worth of in-game items.
Turnip Boy Robs a Bank will remain free to claim until March 12, after which a new giveaway will replace it. Next week’s free titles are set to be Cozy Grove and Isonzo. As always, be sure to check out our free games page as well, and keep an eye out for upcoming releases and exclusive offers.
