‘Restyle the Runway’ returns in Rockford to highlight sustainable fashion

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Womanspace and Tad More Tailoring team up for another year to highlight artists and vendors focused on environmentally-responsible fashion.

Restyle the Runway 2026, featuring a fashion show and luncheon, takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., March 7, at Rockford University’s Regent Hall, 5050 E. State Street.

The runway show features collections of upcycled and restyled pieces, made from thrift store finds and everyday closets.

The event aims to show the community how old clothing can be reworked into something stylish.

Stylists from Tad More Tailoring will share insight into transforming those old wardrobes into something both wearable and eco-friendly.

Organizers will discuss the impact of textiles on landfills, and local vendors will come out to highlight sustainably-sourced products.

Restyle the Runway is an annual event, organized by Womanspace and Tad More Tailoring and sponsored by Rockford University and Goodwill of Northern Illinois.
