Bianca Jagger, 80, steals the show at Paris Fashion Week

Bianca Jagger proved that true style never goes out of fashion as she made a striking appearance at the Lanvin show during Paris Fashion Week. The 80-year-old socialite and human rights activist – best known as the first wife of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger – commanded attention from the front row at the Fall/Winter 2026-2027 womenswear show in Paris.

Bianca arrived in signature dramatic fashion, wearing a sleek black ensemble. The look centred around a sharply tailored black leather coat layered over a delicate black lace top, which added a subtle hint of texture and glamour.

She paired the outfit with a crisp white high collar that framed her face and added a classic, almost tuxedo-inspired touch. Black leather gloves heightened the sophisticated mood, while round tinted sunglasses gave her look an air of mystery.

She accessorised with a gold-chain shoulder bag in a bold leopard print, injecting a playful flash of pattern into the otherwise monochrome look. Completing the outfit was a sleek pair of black trousers and polished shoes.

Joining her at the show was acclaimed Irish actress Ruth Negga, who posed beside the fashion icon in a statement grey dress featuring a striking pleated ruffle collar and colourful abstract print.

Bianca has long been considered one of fashion’s most enduring muses. In the 1970s she became synonymous with the glamorous nightlife of New York’s legendary Studio 54, where she was frequently photographed arriving in glamorous gowns, tailored suits and her now-signature wide-brimmed hats.

Her marriage to Mick Jagger only amplified her fame. The couple wed in 1971 in a lavish ceremony in Saint-Tropez and quickly became one of the decade’s most photographed celebrity couples, welcoming a daughter, Jade Jagger, in 1971. Although their marriage ended in 1978, Bianca has remained a prominent figure in international society.

In the decades since, she has devoted much of her life to activism. Through the Bianca Jagger Human Rights Foundation, she has campaigned on issues ranging from environmental protection to social justice.

Yet as her appearance in Paris proves, Bianca has never lost the magnetic presence that first made her a global style icon. More than half a century after her Studio 54 heyday, she still knows exactly how to command a front row.
