New app fosters community through everyday fashion at Vintage Fest | News

MADISON, (WKOW) — Representatives from the fashion app Cloud Closet attended the Wisconsin Vintage Fest to introduce attendees to their platform and connect with people interested in fashion and personal style.

Ella Riutta, social team lead for the app, and Noel Krugel, community lead for partnerships, said the event provided an opportunity to reach people who enjoy clothing and styling outfits. Riutta said the team even created a cloud display at their booth to help draw attention to the app.

“So we’re at Wisconsin vintage fest. Super excited,” Riutta said. “And our app is just a great way to digitize that and organize it all for them.”

According to Riutta, the app was founded by Caroline Smith, who was inspired by a viral social media trend where people documented outfits in their phone notes. “She figured there’s got to be a better way to do this, and that’s where cloud closet was born,” Riutta said.

Krugel said the app is useful for everyday planning and sharing outfits with friends. “I love having it every day in the morning to kind of get ready, plan my day out,” Krugel said.

Both representatives said they hope the platform continues to grow as more people discover it. “We’re really excited to have such a strong community,” Krugel said. “This app is for anyone and everyone.”
