Paris Fashion Week 2026: Celine, Loewe, Hermès, Balenciaga, Givenchy and more highlights
It was a busy weekend at Paris Fashion Week, with shows from brands ranging from LVMH-owned Loewe and Celine to powerhouse Hermès.
Here is what you need to know about what’s been happening so far on the Paris runways.

A tailored black coat paired with a matching hat opened the Celine fall/winter 2026 show. The streamlined garment was decorated with a pin badge on the left shoulder emblazoned with the words “bienvenue chez Celine” (welcome to Celine in English).
After almost two years at the helm of the Parisian label, creative director Michael Rider is confident enough to welcome guests to the house he now calls home.
Since taking over, the American designer has made Celine more customer-friendly and democratic. While the brand has always been a top performer at parent company LVMH, it targeted a very specific audience, especially for its ready-to-wear category.

Rider has evolved that approach by strengthening the brand’s Parisian roots while also expanding its reach.
The starting point for fall/winter 2026 was a daily commute in Paris, an idea that perfectly embodies Rider’s design ethos: clothes that look as good on the runway as they do in real life.

Among the best outfits were loose trench coats worn with sequinned dresses; a couple of navy coats cinched with knotted leather belts; and two knit dresses in abstract floral prints that recalled Phoebe Philo’s Celine. A tan leather jacket embellished with a sun motif and floral appliqués at the back looked phenomenal. It is part of a haute couture selection only available by special order. More streamlined and less accessorised than previous outings, the collection looked even stronger without too many bells and whistles.
