‘Euphoria’ creator Sam Levinson teams up with Balenciaga for Paris winter fashion show

Also on Saturday, but a continent away, WME’s star client Sam Levinson had his own front row seat at the Balenciaga winter fashion show in Paris. But the “Euphoria” creator and writer wasn’t just there as another high-profile fashion fan. He and Balenciaga creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli fully collaborated on the show, dubbed “ClairObscur.”

Sources tell Page Six Hollywood that Levinson began quietly working with Piccioli on “ClairObscur” as soon as production wrapped on the highly anticipated final season of “Euphoria” in late December. The end result is a “fresco of humanity,” said Piccioli, who has previously admitted he’s “obsessed” with the HBO hit (Same!)

“Sam has the ability to truly see without judgement — he also weaves together people’s stories, their lives,” Piccioli said in a statement to Page Six Hollywood. “There is no vanity in his approach — there is, rather, attentiveness and compassion, empathy and an almost reverent attention to the countless facets that compose each human being.”

A source in attendance says Levinson shot footage of the models from “ClairObscur” and blended them with some of the new faces from “Euphoria,” including Rosalía (whose song “Berghain” played as the winter collection was unveiled). “Pierpaulo didn’t want to imitate [‘Euphoria’] and was mostly inspired by the way Sam sees characters,” the source adds.

With “Euphoria” hitting HBO next month, consider “ClairObscur” as close as you’ll get to a Season 3 spoiler.
