NBA Star Russell Westbrook Made History In Bulls-Kings Game

On Sunday night, the Sacramento Kings played the Chicago Bulls (at home) in California.

The Kings won by a score of 126-110.

Russell Westbrook finished the game with 23 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists and one steal while shooting 7/17 from the field and 3/5 from three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time.

Westbrook also made NBA history with his big performance.

Westbrook Playing Well In Sacramento

Westbrook signed with the Kings right before the start of the 2025-26 season.

The 2017 MVP has played well, averaging 15.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 43.0% from the field and 34.1% from three-point range in 60 games.

He has also had stints with the Denver Nuggets, LA Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards, Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder over 18 seasons.

Matt George of wrote Sactown Sports 1140 wrote: “A needed home win for the Sacramento Kings, snapping a 9 game skid inside the G1C.

Malik Monk put on a show (30 points), Maxime Raynaud dominated the paint, and Russell Westbrook put on a playmaking clinic with the 23 point, 11 rebound, 12 assist triple double.”

Sacramento This Season

Despite Westbrook’s strong play, the Kings have been the worst team in the NBA.

They are the 15th seed in the Western Conference with a 15-50 record in 65 games.

Over their last ten games, the Kings have gone 3-7 (and they are 10-22 at home).
