Cococucumber has revealed today a new trailer for Echo Generation 2 during The MIX Spring Showcase. The deckbuilding turn-based adventure indie title is set to release in 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Xbox Game Pass, and PC via Steam. A public demo is both available on PC and Xbox Series X|S for a limited time.
The Echo Generation 2 demo, ranked second in “Popular Upcoming” for turn-based combat and deckbuilding genres in Steam Next Fest, received “Positive Reviews” on both Xbox and Steam. To celebrate the success and allow new players to jump into the franchise, Echo Generation: Midnight Edition is available with a 65% discount on Xbox Series X|S and PC (March 5-18) and 50% off on Steam (March 9-16) during the upcoming #TurnBasedThursdayFest.
Players embark on a journey into Echo Generation 2 with this demo that shows the introduction of the game. They’ll have to escape the sinister FST organization as Sister M, a psychic kid caught between scientific experimentation and forces beyond human comprehension.
The public demo also features a small glimpse of the new tactical combat system that lets players collect cards, and define their individual playstyle by building their own decks with over 100 unique cards to craft combos, summon allies, and unleash powerful attacks.
ID@Xbox Press Event attendees will also have the opportunity to play an extended version of the demo including a sneak peak of Jack’s story. In this extra segment, players can tag team with a new companion in fights and enjoy a deeper version of the new combat system.
