This private dining club in West Chelsea is exactly how you might imagine a New York City socialite dines out. The arched ceilings, elaborate lighting fixtures and rouge draped curtains make for an indulgently chic steak dinner, prepared over a wood fire by Michelin-starred Chef Melissa Rodriguez.
The space is backed by Tao Group Hospitality and managed by veteran restaurateur Jeff Katz, who the Chef worked beside for nearly a decade in order to acquire the sought-after space at 85 Tenth Avenue. With its grand opening in 2023, Crane Club lives up to the pair’s predecessors: Discolo, Mel’s, and Alcoro, which was awarded two Michelin stars just months after it had opened.
With seating designed for conversation, the restaurant conquers the initial rigidness of cocktail hour. Perfectly situated within walking distance from the Highline and Chelsea Piers, may your fashion week banter continue to flow freely as you take in the sweeping views of the city.
