For the Chloé Fall/Winter 2026-2027, Chemena Kamali unveiled a wardrobe nourished by unique inspirations and new motifs. Numéro shares its favourite silhouettes.

Winter must-have: fur-lined thigh-high boots
Each season since her appointment as creative director of Chloé in 2023, Chemena Kamali has imagined a refined and desirable wardrobe, whose accessories and footwear seduce fans of the brand.
After bringing back the Paddington bag and leather ballet flats, the German designer now introduces a pair of fur-lined, thigh-high boots. These leather boots come in both pop and understated shades, from orange to greyish blue. Above all, they feature a notched cuff revealing a padded beige fur lining. A perfect way to shield oneself from the cold with style and protect one’s legs, if one chooses to wear one of the fashion house’s flowing ruffled dresses.

New folkloric patterns at Chloé
While Chemena Kamali dreamed of couture for her Spring/Summer 2026 collection featuring a series of floral and voluptuous silhouettes, she now turns to traditional costumes and folk-inspired craftsmanship for the upcoming winter season. “Every embroidery, knitted thread, printed motif reveals both the maker’s hand and their devotion,” she explains in her show notes.
Entitled Devotion, the collection explores the nebulous concept of folklore through pieces adorned with new, intriguing motifs. It unfolds through a collection of accessories resembling talismans — a wide gold belt buckle, a necklace set with a large stone… It also includes tartan or quilted skirts and dresses, sometimes adorned with floral prints. Elegant sweaters embellished with stylized flowers embroidered around small knitted bobbles feature the word “Chloé” in italics.

The return of cut-out dresses
A staple of the Chloé wardrobe, airy dresses punctuated with ruffles are being revamped. For Fall/Winter 2026–2027, Chemena Kamali gives them a more sensual feel thanks to cut-outs. Some open at the hips, subtly revealing a glimpse of skin and a hint of lace from the underwear beneath.
Others are slit along the length of the skirt, the top connected to the bottom by a few lines reminiscent of corsets or garter belts. This discreet detail lends a touch of sensuality to the Chloé woman, who remains as poetic and graceful as ever.
