Vermonter Luis Guzmán will be heading to the Mushroom Kingdom this April.Guzmán, who is best known for his role as Gomez Adams in the hit Netflix series “Wednesday” as well as other movies and TV shows, will play the villanous Wart in the upcoming animated film.Nintendo released the final trailer for the film and confirmed that Guzmán would play a role in the upcoming video game movie on March 10, commonly known as “Mario Day.”Guzmán has lived in Vermont for decades and frequently uses his celebrity to help his community and raise money for local causes.He recently spoke with NBC5’s Adrian Pastor about living in Vermont and the importance of authentic Latino roles in Hollywood.Guzmán has also been spotted helping to build beds for children in need and donating his winnings from a recent stint on “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” to help local flood victims.
