Live Nation Plans New Bentonville Ballroom Music Venue


A new live venue called the Bentonville Ballroom could soon be built on the campus of The Momentary.Anthony Nicolaidis, Live Nation president, said he’s been planning this for years.“Northwest Arkansas has so much to offer artists and fans, great coffee shops, bikes, art galleries, restaurants, and it’s an incredible music market, there’s tons of music fans,” Nicolaidis said.The project could bring more concerts and a wider variety of artists to the region without fans having to travel.”But the diversity that we bring to this area will be able to fit the needs of a lot of its residents,” Jill Wagar, director of The Momentary, said.The venue would host all genres of music, including hip hop, country and rock. Plans include more than 100 events each year.“We know that there is a power in music; the more music we have in NWA, the more quality of life for its residents,” Nicolaidis said.The Bentonville City Planning Department is still reviewing the plans. The 2,500-seat indoor venue would open year-round in 2028.
