This is one of the best CPUs from the 14th-gen Intel lineup, and ideal if you’re looking for something for more than just gaming. It has 20 cores (8P and 12 E) and 28 threads, which makes it a powerful CPU for multitasking. For streamers, the 8 performance cores and 12 efficiency cores are ideal, as the latter can handle OBS and Discord on a second monitor, while the performance cores keep gaming performance strong and stable. For creatives, with applications like Premiere Pro and Blender, having a higher thread count is also going to help speed up rendering tasks, improving workflows significantly. On top of that, its 5.3Ghz boost clock speed and large 33MB L3 cache make it very well suited for high fps 1440p, and even 4K, which aligns nicely with the RTX 5070’s capabilities. RTX 5070 graphics card
Arguably the best graphics card if you want the latest tech, and something well-rounded for both 1440p and creative workflows, plus entry-level 4K capabilities with a few tweaks to settings. It’s built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell Architecture, so you’ve got 12GB of faster GDDR7 VRAM, which allows for better performance at higher textures and resolutions than the RTX 5060. It also has a decent CUDA core count of 6,144, which makes it more capable of high refresh rate 1440p and faster rendering times in popular creative applications, like Blender, for example. It features 4th-gen ray tracing cores, which means you’re getting much better ray tracing performance, without it completely nailing fps, and its 5th-gen tensor cores give it a significant boost to its AI capabilities, especially with MFG, where it can generate frames between frames for smoother appearing gameplay. Storage and RAM
First up, you’ve got a 1TB SSD here, which is fine for most people, and personally, what I’d go for if I were looking to keep costs down, as I don’t mind a bit of storage management from time to time. The big win here, though, is the 32GB of DDR5, which is going to help everything from AAA games to applications like Blender and Adobe Premiere Pro feel much smoother and more responsive.
Things to consider
