The study, conducted by Studocu, analysed Google searches for various college majors to determine the most popular field in each US state.

Methodology:
Studocu compiled a comprehensive list of keywords referring to college majors.
After removing duplicates and incompatible search terms, monthly search volume data was collected from Google Keyword Planner for all US states, covering November 2024 to October 2025.
Search activity was then averaged and ranked to identify the most searched major in each state.
