The official music video for “Ferto,” Greece’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, has been released today, Wednesday, March 11, and is now available on ERTFLIX and the official Eurovision YouTube channel.
The song will be performed by Akylas, who will represent Greece at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest, set to take place in Vienna.
A dynamic and modern visual concept
Featuring a modern aesthetic, fast-paced editing and striking visuals, the music video captures the rhythm and energy of the song through a compelling visual narrative.
Directed by Jim Georgantis, with visual effects by San Tierrez, the clip blends emotion, humour and vibrant imagery, drawing viewers into the powerful rhythm of “Ferto”.
A deeply personal song
“Ferto” was composed by Akylas, papatanice and TEO.x3, while the lyrics were written by Orpheus Nonis and Akylas.
The creators describe the track as a deeply personal story about the journey from hardship to success, exploring the internal conflict between pursuing genuine dreams and trying to fill emotional gaps left by childhood struggles.
The song touches on themes of ambition, gratitude and human connection, highlighting the tension between the desire for more and the realization that true value lies in the people who supported us along the way.
It is also dedicated to parents who provide love and hope despite adversity, and to children striving to honour those sacrifices.
Eurovision performance
Akylas will perform “Ferto” during the first half of Semi-Final 1 on May 12, 2026, when Greece competes for a place in the Eurovision Grand Final.
The track is released by Minos EMI, a Universal Music Company.
