HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Local musicians, venue operators, and music fans are invited to gather for the first Quarterly Music Meetup of 2026 on Tuesday, March 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the recently reopened Tip Top Cafe, 125 Maple Avenue NW.

The free community event, hosted by the Huntsville Music Office, will give attendees a chance to network, collaborate, and hear updates on the office’s plans for 2026.

“2025 was a record-breaking year for the Huntsville Music Office,” said Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella. “In 2026, we’re focused on refining and expanding the programs and events that have helped strengthen Huntsville’s music ecosystem including initiatives like our Music Ambassador Program and the 805 After Five concert series.”

The meetup also offers attendees a chance to check out Tip Top Cafe, which reopened in late 2025 after more than two decades of silence and extensive renovations. The historic venue has long been a hub for local musicians and touring acts.

“If you haven’t been to the Tip Top yet, this is a great opportunity to see how the owners have modernized the space while staying true to the venue’s roots and the nostalgia that longtime fans remember,” Mandrella said.

Community members are encouraged to attend, connect with other music advocates, and help shape Huntsville’s growing music scene. Refreshments will be available for purchase, and admission is free.
