The Door County Economic Development Center is working with Northeast Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship to help local schools organize Reality Store events.
These hands-on events simulate experiences and expenses that students will face after school, similar to The Game of Life.
Organizers are seeking business leaders to volunteer and share their expertise on real-world financial decision-making. Volunteers will assist students in making informed choices related to their topic, verify student participation, provide guidance and answer questions.
Reality Store events take place on Wednesday, March 18, from 12:15 to 2:30 pm at Sevastopol High School, 4550 Hwy 57; and on Monday, April 13, from 8:05 to 10 am at Sturgeon Bay High School, 1230 Michigan St. Volunteers will be asked to come 20 to 30 minutes before start time.
