Ascot, a global specialty insurance and reinsurance group, has announced the appointment of Shanelle Burke as U.S. Chief Financial Officer.
In her new role, Burke will join Ascot’s U.S. leadership team, overseeing finance operations, strategy, capital management, regulatory engagement, and enterprise decision support.
She brings more than two decades of insurance industry experience, having joined Ascot in June 2020 as U.S. Controller.
Prior to that, Burke served as Controller of the Global Insurance Division at Markel and also held finance leadership roles at Alterra USA and KPMG.
