NBA Twitter reacts to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 20-point streak


Getting the one-on-one look against Baylor Scheierman, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finally penned his name into the NBA record book once again. A pull-up mid-range jumper helped him surpass Wilt Chamberlain for one of his legendary records.

Gilgeous-Alexander now owns the NBA’s longest 20-point streak at 127 games. He accomplished the feat in the third quarter as the Oklahoma City Thunder eventually came away with a 104-102 win over the Boston Celtics.

Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 35 points, nine assists and six rebounds. He took over the fourth quarter as OKC’s supporting cast struggled to contribute.
