Construction output in Greece rose by 3% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2025, following a 3.3% growth in the previous quarter.
Output increased sharply in residential and non-residential building construction (20.2% vs 9.6%) and specialised construction activities (11.4% vs 6.6%).
Meanwhile, activity in civil engineering recorded a steeper contraction, declining by 15% compared with a 6% fall in Q3.
On a quarterly basis, construction output jumped 51.7% in Q4, rebounding from an upwardly revised 2.4% drop in the preceding period.
For the full year, Greece’s construction activity grew by 2.5% compared to 19.9% in 2024.
