- Polaris Fashion Place in Columbus is adding several new restaurants and retailers throughout the year.
- New dining options include Mediterranean chain CAVA and South Indian restaurant Simply South.
- Activewear brand Fabletics will open a new store, while OFFLINE by Aerie is expanding its current location.
New restaurants and retailers are heading to Polaris Fashion Place, including a Mediterranean fast-casual chain, an Indian restaurant and several apparel and dessert brands.
Mall officials announced March 13 in a press release that multiple new tenants will open in phases throughout the year at the shopping center along Polaris Parkway.
Among the new additions is CAVA, a fast-casual Mediterranean chain known for customizable bowls, salads and pita wraps. The restaurant is expected to open in the spring near Potbelly, 1390 Polaris Pkwy.
Another restaurant planned is Simply South, a vegetarian South Indian restaurant that operates locations in the Chicago and Dallas areas. The restaurant is currently under construction next to Benihana, 8781 Lyra Drive, and is targeting a holiday-season opening later in the year.
Several retail brands are also expanding or opening new locations at the mall.
Activewear company Fabletics is to open a store on the lower level near AKIRA, with a projected opening during the holiday season.
Meanwhile, OFFLINE by Aerie is remodeling and expanding its existing store on the mall’s upper level. The updated location is expected to reopen in early summer. The brand is currently operating from a temporary space near Abercrombie & Fitch while renovations are underway.
A dessert kiosk has already debuted inside the mall. Fruit Ice Cream, which sells fruit-shaped ice cream desserts that have gained popularity on social media, recently opened on the lower level outside AKIRA and Vans.
The mall, which has more than 160 retail, dining and entertainment tenants, is located about 20 minutes north of downtown Columbus.
