This PC features a very value-friendly Ryzen CPU, the 7 5700, which was released back in 2022. It’s a Zen 3 processor and features a decent 8 cores and 16 threads, which makes it a solid choice if you’re looking for something for streaming, multitasking, and various creative workflows, particularly those involving applications like Blender or Adobe Premiere Pro, for example. It has a 16MB L3 cache and a boost clock speed of 4.6GHz, which is in line with the RTX 5060 Ti’s target resolution of 1080p and 144p, and should deliver decent framerates in-game.
RTX 5060 Ti graphics card
From a price-to-performance perspective, the RTX 5060 Ti is one of the best graphics cards you can get, especially if you want something with newer features and technology. For a modest price increase over the RTX 5060, you’re getting something that’s around 15% faster, and better suited to higher fps at both 1080p and 1440p. This version has 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM, which is decent for 1440p, but may run into some limitations with higher resolutions and textures. RAM and storage
You’ve got 16GB of DDR4 here, which is quite common with RTX 5060/ RTX 5060 Ti builds, especially those under $1,100. It’s a decent amount of RAM, and should help keep gaming, multitasking, and creative workloads feeling smooth and responsive, and while it’s not going to be as snappy as DDR5, it certainly helps keep the overall cost of this build lower, which we’d count as a win. On the storage side, you’ve got a 1TB SSD, which is fine for most people, especially if you’re playing a few games on rotation.
Things to consider
Personally, I think it’s worth checking out some options slightly above $1,100 if you’re going for an RTX 5060 Ti build, as you’re going to run into prebuilds with DDR5 and more capable gaming CPUs, like Ryzen ‘X’ models, which will have larger L3 caches and faster boost clock speeds. This build is a good, budget-friendly option, and a great entry-level model, for sure, but to get the most out of the RTX 5060 Ti, spending a touch more would be a good move, especially if you’re after smooth, high fps gaming at 1440p.
