This configuration opts for a particularly powerful Ryzen 9 9900X processor, which boasts excellent gaming and multitasking performance thanks to its huge core and thread count, massive L3 cache, and fast boost clock speed. Key features of this Skytech King 95 RTX 5070 gaming PC

Ryzen 9 9900X processor

This PC packs a powerhouse processor that’s excellent for gaming, multitasking, and handling demanding creative workloads. It has 12 cores and 24 threads, which makes it a very strong option for those who frequently use applications like Blender and Adobe Premiere Pro, for example, and it’s an excellent choice for content creators and streamers, too. Its boost clock speed of 5.6GHz and massive 64MB L3 cache can help push high fps with low frame latency at 1440p and 4K easily, making it great for the RTX 5070, and even for some of the very best graphics cards on the market, giving you a good foundation if you wanted to upgrade your GPU in the future. Read our review for more details.

RTX 5070 graphics card

One of the most popular 50-series graphics cards, and with good reason. It’s an outstanding choice for 1440p gaming at a relatively affordable price point, and a cut above the competition due to its advanced AI and ray tracing capabilities, alongside its faster GDDR7 VRAM and exclusive features, like MFG and 9th-gen Nvidia Encoders. You’ve got 12GB of GDDR7 here, which makes it more suitable for 1440p gaming than the RTX 5060 Ti, for example, and it can also be used for 4K with a few tweaks to settings. For creatives, it’s a good middle ground that gives you a better performance in popular editing applications, but without the much higher price tag of an RTX 5070 Ti. Storage and RAM

You’ve got a 1TB SSD here, which is not bad if you’re playing a handful of games on rotation, and means you’re not overspending for space you may not use right away, but the real win here is its 32GB of DDR5. This amount of RAM is going to be excellent if you’re playing more demanding games, specifically open-world titles and simulators, as it will help keep gameplay looking ultra smooth in these more RAM-intensive titles.

Things to consider

In short, for an RTX 5070 build, you can absolutely get cheaper than this. The King 95 lineup is Skytech’s top-tier, so you’re paying a premium for build quality, advanced cooling, and higher-end components, but I’d say it’s pretty overkill for most people. For an RTX 5070 prebuild, I’d say the best option would be to go for something with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D or potentially an Intel 7-265K, the former being excellent for gaming and the latter being a better option for content creation and multitasking. If you want to stick with Skytech, go for the Azure lineup, as these look similar to the King 95 builds, but are a fair bit cheaper.
