He passes LeBron James.”

Westbrook had been a free agent until right before the start of the 2025-26 season when he signed with the Kings.
He is averaging 15.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 43.1% from the field and 34.3% from three-point range in 61 games.
James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento wrote: “3. Vintage Russ. Russell Westbrook had a little extra juice for his former Clippers teammates. The 37-year-old stuffed the statsheet with 12 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. He had a few turnovers and his shooting numbers weren’t great, but another solid performance.”

While Westbrook has been having a very strong season for a role player at 37, the Kings are struggling in a big way.
They are the 15th seed in the Western Conference with a 17-51 record in 68 games.
Over their last ten games, the Kings have gone 5-5 (and they are 6-28 on the road).
Matt George of Sactown Sports 1140 wrote: “That’s a pretty terrible loss for the Clippers. And not a great win for the Kings.
Max played amazing. So did Precious. Russ triple-double & Nique hit some big shots. So a lot of good from this one too.”
