Key features of this ABS Kaze II Aqua RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC

Intel Core i9-14900KF processor

It may not be quite as future-proof as the more recently released LGA 1851 Intel CPUs, but the Intel Core i9-14900KF is still one of the very best gaming CPUs you can get, and a powerhouse for creative work and productivity. Notably, it has a huge core and thread count, coming in at 24 and 32, which makes it extremely capable of handling applications like Blender, Adobe Premiere Pro, and more, alongside giving it S-tier multitasking capabilities, which make it ideal for streaming and running background applications, like Discord, while gaming. It has a boost clock speed of up to 6GHz and a large 36MB L3 cache, which makes it great for high fps 1440p and 4K gaming with low frame latency, making it a very good pairing with top-end graphics cards, like the RTX 5070 Ti in this case. RTX 5070 Ti graphics card

You’ve got an RTX 5070 Ti in this build, which is a very strong choice for maxed-out 1440p gaming, that also has decent 4K performance, and can handle more demanding creative workflows, like working in 3D, for example. One of the big things here is its faster, higher-bandwidth GDDR7 VRAM, of which this card has 16GB. This puts it a cut above the RTX 5070, allowing it to handle higher resolutions and textures much better, alongside giving it plenty of headroom for modern AAA games. You’ve also got 5th-gen tensor cores, which give it a huge generational leap in terms of AI capabilities and performance, and help power its exclusive MFG upscaling technology. There are also 4th-gen ray tracing cores, which can handle more complex scenarios much easier than prior generations, too. Overall, it’s an excellent graphics card to go for, especially if you want something for incredible 1440p performance.

RAM and storage

This build is a more premium offering, so you’ve got 2TB of storage and 32GB of DDR5. This storage is excellent for those who plan on building a large gaming library, and 32GB of DDR5 is a big win for open-world games and simulators, which often eat up a lot of RAM just to function. It’s also great for video editors and those working in 3D, as it makes rendering, editing, timeline scrubbing, and more much snappier, which is good for optimizing workflows and preventing your system from grinding to a crawl under heavy loads.

Things to consider

The price of this is ‘just’ on the point where it makes sense, but you’re getting very close to RTX 5080 prebuild territory, as some Intel Core Ultra 7-265K builds can hover around $2,500. The build quality here is very good, and the components are great, but if you’re after better 4K with ray tracing performance, I’d say it’s worth exploring RTX 5080 prebuilds, too. The sweet spot, from my experience, is around $2,700 – $2,800, which is where you’ll typically find Ryzen 7 9800X3D processors or the Intel i9-14900KF, in some cases, the former being one of the best gaming CPUs on the market, and getting seemingly more affordable with more X3D models released recently, like the Ryzen 7 9850X3D.
