Nvidia DLSS 4.5 comes to 20 games; Dynamic Multi Frame Generation releasing March 31
Nvidia is enhancing gaming with DLSS 4.5, introducing Dynamic Multi Frame Generation for RTX 50 Series GPUs via its app beta on March 31. This advanced feature intelligently boosts frame rates, with a special 6X mode for 4K path-traced titles. Notable games like ‘007 First Light’ and ‘CONTROL Resonant’ will feature this technology, promising a significant visual upgrade for gamers.

Nvidia is rolling out DLSS 4.5 support to 20 games, with the headline feature—Dynamic Multi Frame Generation—arriving via the Nvidia app beta on March 31 exclusively for GeForce RTX 50 Series GPU owners. The update builds on what Nvidia launched at CES 2026: a 2nd-generation transformer model for DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution that, in a blind test by ComputerBase across six games, beat native resolution for perceived image quality. That feature is already live in the Nvidia app, letting users force it onto hundreds of titles. What’s new now is the frame generation side of things.Dynamic Multi Frame Generation automatically adjusts how many AI-generated frames get inserted during gameplay to hit a target frame rate—or match the display’s refresh rate. There’s also a 6X Multi Frame Generation mode specifically for 4K path-traced games. Nvidia says both will need GeForce Game Ready Driver 595.79 WHQL or newer.

007 First Light, CONTROL Resonant headline the DLSS 4.5 game lineup

The most notable launches: IO Interactive’s 007 First Light arrives May 27 with full path tracing and DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation baked in. Remedy’s CONTROL Resonant, sequel to the 2019 ray-tracing showcase, also lands this year with path tracing and RTX Mega Geometry. Supermassive Games’ sci-fi horror title Directive 8020 follows on May 12, also path-traced.Other notable additions include the Star Wars racing game Galactic Racer with ray-traced Lumen lighting, open-world RPG The Vernyhorn, and action-adventure Tides of Annihilation. On the update side, War Thunder, Where Winds Meet, and Gray Zone Warfare are all getting DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution upgrades.RTX 50 Series owners can opt into the Nvidia app beta from March 31 via Settings > About to get early access to the new frame generation features.
