NBA Legend Magic Johnson Reacts To Nuggets-Lakers Game

On Saturday night, the Denver Nuggets and Los Angels Lakers played a thrilling game in California.

The Lakers won by a score of 127-125 (in overtime).

Austin Reaves led the team with 32 points, seven rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block while shooting 12/21 from the field and 3/8 from three-point range in 46 minutes of playing time.

Following the game, Lakers legend (and Basketball Hall of Famer) Magic Johnson sent out two posts (via X).

Johnson’s first post: “Tonight’s Lakers vs. Nuggets game had Playoff-level intensity!”

Johnson’s second post: “Luka’s fall away jump shot sealed the victory for the Lakers 127-125. Luka ended with a 30 point, 11 rebound, 13 assist triple double and got a lot of help from Austin Reaves who sent the game into OT. The Lakers were down three with five seconds to go. Reaves got fouled, made the first free throw and missed the second but got his rebound and made a crucial game-tying shot! He ended with 32 points.”
