The pair first met back in 1980, when Oscar-winning Amy went to watch Ed perform in the play Cowboy Mouth in Los Angeles. ‘It was like something you see in a movie or hear in a song,’ she once said of first laying eyes on her future husband. ‘I just thought, well, there he is. It was so obvious to me that I’d see him again.’
