Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and attend a FREE concert event at League Park on Saturday, March 21, from 1:30 to 9:30 p.m. featuring various local musicians as well as headlining act “Trout Fishing in America.”
The Grammy-nominated duo—made up of Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet—will also conduct a songwriting workshop (for a nominal fee of $20) before their live performance at the park from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

A Day of Music in League City
The songwriting workshop and concert by Trout Fishing in America is part of a larger event called “A Day of Music in League City,” which is sponsored by the League City Convention and Visitors Bureau, the League City Patrons of the Parks and Arts Foundation, and Butler’s Courtyard. Live musical performances will be featured throughout the day at League Park. See below for a lineup. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the park.

Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet have been friends and songwriting partners for nearly 50 years and have performed in all 50 states, parts of Canada, and Europe at just about every kind of venue you can imagine. About the Songwriting Workshop
During this one-of-a-kind workshop for adults only, Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet will share their unique techniques, strategies, and methodology for writing songs. They will also teach basic songwriting steps such as brainstorming topics, developing storylines, finding rhymes, and building self-esteem by turning everyday ideas into music.
