WARETOWN – If the annual Ocean County Saint Patrick’s Day Parade wasn’t enough of a celebration of all things Irish that day you could have also enjoyed your evening at Albert Music Hall’s “Irish Night.”

Many did just that as the music hall was packed and most of those who attended were wearing some shade of green attire.

The night kicked off with members of the D’Arcy School of Irish Dance which has a location in Brick Township performing a set of soft shoe and hard shoe dances. They were followed by the O’talians who sang several tunes.

Tommy B & the Deep Blue Sea came up to the stage next followed by the Coal Fired Ramblers, Andy Koontz, and Six Mile Cross concluded the night.

Plenty of Irish songs were enjoyed and you could get a corned beef and Swiss cheese sandwich, along with “Blarney Balls” (Italian meatballs) with Birch beer, ice tea or soda to drink and plenty of cakes and pies to choose from during the entertaining evening.

Another show was held on March 14. Food specials included hot corned beef with Swiss on rye sandwiches, kielbasa & ‘kraut, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs. Vegan Chik’n patties on request.

The band line-up included Josh Werner & Jeff Propert, Amanda Penecale, Bad Dogz, Elaine and The Cimarron Sky Band, and concluding with Billy Penn and The Inside Drivers.
