Joining Fanning in shinin’ like they were born to be, KPop Demon Hunters‘ cast showed fans how it’s done, done, done.
“I feel like a queen,” Arden Cho (who plays HUNTR/X lead singer Rumi in Netflix’s runaway smash) raved to E! of her Miss Sohee look. “I was very much being like, you know, Rumi let’s be main character energy.” And, happily, the hand-embroidered look from the Korean brand, “Kind of reminds me of a hanbok in a very modern way.”
And her costar Ji-young Yoo (the trio’s bubbly rapper Zoey) was right on her side.
Though Yoo and her stylist had discussed choosing a Korean designer, the feel of the Carolina Herrera they chose “was a happy accident,” she told E!. “This looks like a hanbok, which is traditional Korean style dress, it just really worked out nicely.”
It was also “somewhat comfortable,” she added, “But slaying is first and foremost.”
And their vocal KPop counterparts were definitely, uh, golden in their coordinated gilded look, though, Dior-clad EJAE (who belts out Rumi’s songs) admitted to E!, “I did not expect us to match so well.”
F1‘s Damson Idris, though, fully expected to race away with some red carpet recognition.
