The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has partnered with womenswear brand Love & Roses to launch an 85-piece spring/summer 2026 collection, available exclusively at Next. The collection, inspired by the RHS Lindley Collections – the world’s largest collection of botanical art – combines heritage designs with modern femininity.
The Love & Roses design team drew inspiration from the intricate details and vibrant colors of the RHS archive, translating botanical illustrations into prints and motifs for a range of garments. The collection includes day dresses, event dresses, jumpsuits, tops, skirts, outerwear, denim and knitwear.
The collection will debut online at next.co.uk in March and will also be available in-store. Additionally, it will be showcased at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show from May 19-23, where shoppers can purchase items via QR codes. Exclusive accessories, such as scarves, tote bags, and hats, will also be available at the show.
Ahead of the Chelsea Flower Show, an in-store activation will take place at RHS Garden Wisley in Surrey from April 20 to May 18. This activation will feature a merchandise area with an iPad station for ordering apparel and accessories, which will be dispatched directly by Next.
“A summer wardrobe designed for all occasions, from effortless daytime dressing to special occasions, this collaboration is a tribute both to the horticultural excellence of the RHS and to the colors and joy of spring and summer,” says Clive Reeve, head, creative, Love & Roses. “We’re thrilled to have worked with the RHS and its fabulous artworks, and even more thrilled at the results.”
The collection balances romantic event dressing with effortless daywear, featuring signature Love & Roses silhouettes adorned with botanical prints, embroidery and textured details. Key pieces include sundresses, denim with floral embroidery and statement separates for versatile summer styling.
Allotment-inspired motifs, such as cherries, chilies, and tomatoes, add a playful touch to relaxed silhouettes. Hero styles include a fruit print belted midi dress, puff-sleeve Gingham midi dress, and fruit print shirt and shorts set. Delicate pressed meadow flowers also appear across textured fabrics, adding a romantic twist to the collection.
“Whimsical, romantic and effortlessly stylish, this floral-inspired summer wardrobe captures the spirit of spring and summer in a truly celebratory way,” says Cathy Snow, licensing manager, RHS. “Created in collaboration with Love & Roses, this special collection beautifully brings together fashion and the natural world. We hope it inspires people to embrace the season in style and to visit our stunning RHS Gardens and experience that beauty in bloom for themselves.”
The collection also includes a make-up bag inspired by one of its prints, created by The Flat Lay Co., which is available now at Next.co.uk starting March 16. A fall/winter collection is planned for later in the year.
