Zendaya Rewears White Vivienne Westwood Gown at ‘The Drama’ Premiere

If Zendaya ever gets tired of being an A-list movie star, she could take over marketing for every movie studio in Hollywood. The 29-year-old actress is currently headlining The Drama, an A24 production about a couple that’s maybe getting married…or maybe going to murder each other, at least according to the trailer.

To promote the film, Zendaya and her stylist Law Roach have concocted some major red carpet moments that riff on the old bridal cliché, “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.” And considering Zendaya herself is engaged to Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland, the outfits have taken on a gossip-fueled life of their own.

The latest entry into Zendaya’s theme-dressing canon took place last night at the Los Angeles premiere of The Drama. The actress wore her own white Vivienne Westwood dress from her very first appearance at the 2015 Oscars (“something old”). Even older? The white 1986 Eugene Alexander dress she sported to the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards last week, as seen on both Whitney Houston and Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City movie.

Next, there was “something borrowed.” Her after-party outfit was a white lace suit created by British designer Harris Reed to mimic Prince’s most famous look from his Purple Rain tour, created in 1984. (The shirt alone sold at auction in 2021 for an estimated $75,000.)

“Something new” came at Louis Vuitton’s fall/winter 2026 show, where the movie star appeared front row in a custom creation by designer Nicolas Ghesquière. As for “something blue,” check out the movie star’s floaty McQueen dress and suede pumps on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The Drama doesn’t hit movie theaters until April 3, which means there’s even more runway for Zendaya and Roach to make even more extremely chic mischief on the red carpet—and for fans to say “I do” to whatever looks the duo concocts next.
