Ivica Zubac joins a list of Indiana Pacers players who are questionable for Wednesday.

Four games after making his team debut with the Indiana Pacers on March 12, center Ivica Zubac has popped up on the injury report once again for his new team.

The Pacers’ trade deadline addition is tagged questionable with a back injury for the Indiana Pacers (15-54) in the second half of a back-to-back as they host the Portland Trail Blazers (33-36) on Wednesday. His status will be updated closer to tipoff.

Ivica Zubac has appeared in four straight games for the Pacers, averaging 10.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in 23.8 minutes per game. He joins an Indiana injury report that includes 13 other players.

Indiana is looking to end a 14-game losing streak as they host the Trail Blazers.

Pacers Injury Report

The Indiana Pacers have initially tagged Zubac, Quenton Jackson (calf strain), T.J. McConnell (hamstring soreness), Andrew Nembhard (calf contusion), Aaron Nesmith (ankle injury management), Micah Potter (triceps strain), and Ben Sheppard (ankle sprain) as questionable for Wednesday against the Trail Blazers.

Taelon Peter, Jalen Slawson, and Ethan Thompson are currently in the G League and are also questionable for the Pacers.

The injury report for the Pacers doesn’t stop there, unfortunately.

Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles tear) and Johnny Furphy (ACL tear) are still sidelined with season-ending injuries.

Pascal Siakam (knee sprain) is set to miss his sixth straight game after suffering the setback in the Pacers’ March 8 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. His injury continued to worsen during Indiana’s road trip earlier this month. Siakam will continue to be sidelined down the stretch.

While being on a strict minutes restriction for a large part of the 2025-26 season, Obi Toppin will also miss Wednesday’s game. The Pacers forward continues to get back to full health after undergoing foot surgery in October to address a partial stress fracture in his fifth metatarsal.

Indiana’s recent lineups have been nearly unrecognizable in comparison to last June’s NBA Finals team.

Trail Blazers Injury Report

The Portland Trail Blazers’ injury report for the matchup is a lot shorter, but still includes seven players.

Damian Lillard (Achilles injury management), Vit Krejci (calf contusion), Shaedon Sharpe (fibula stress reaction), Hansen Yang (G League), Caleb Love (G League), and Chris Youngblood (G League) are all listed as out and won’t be available for Portland on Wednesday.

Robert Williams III (knee injury management) is labeled as questionable and will have his status monitored closer to tipoff.

The defensive-minded center has been the healthiest he’s been since his 2021-22 campaign with the Boston Celtics. Through 47 appearances (one start) this season, Williams III is averaging 6.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks over 16.9 minutes per game this season.

Indiana is waiting for the offseason while holding the worst record in the NBA. With 13 games left in the 2025-26 campaign for the Pacers, the team’s mindset will be getting its top players back to full strength for the 2026-27 season.

As for Portland, they are very much in the conversation for a Play-In bid in the Western Conference. With a 33-36 record, the Trail Blazers hold a safe 9-game lead over the Memphis Grizzlies for the No. 10 spot.
