Our time is 9:32 here on Good Morning Gulf Coast, and we’re getting ready to step into some style. Naples Fashion Week is about to hit the runway. That’s right. The event supporting the shelter for abused women and children, as well as the Patty Baker Humane Society, and we have *** front row seat for you. Jason Drew is Gulf Coasting live for us this morning along 5th Avenue with *** sneak peek. Hey Jason. Well, good morning, Gulf Coast. We’re here in Naples, getting ready for Naples Fashion Week. We’ve got the, we’ve got the models going, we’ve got all sorts of great stuff coming up. It’s all kicking off on the twenty-seventh. I’ve always wanted to do runway. I shouldn’t. I should stick to my real job. All right, so anyway, this is gonna be fun. It’s *** whole week long and Roberta here is, uh, the CEO of Naples, uh, Fashion Week, correct? Yes, I am. Are you excited about this annual event? I am what? Beyond excited. It’s our 2nd year and it’s getting bigger and better every year, so I cannot be more excited for what’s coming. It’s really great because it’s, it’s fashion. We, of course, there’s puppies too. I explain the puppies. So we’re, we’re giving back to the Patty Baker Humane Society this year. So our first runway has adoptable puppies with the models on the runway, and that’s at Sawan March twenty-eighth. So please make it out for that the runway puppies on the runway. It’s gonna be fun. Yes. And of course the other beneficiary happens to be the shelter for abused women and children, and we’ve got Linda with us this morning. Yes, we do. Good morning, Linda. Good morning. So tell us about the shelter and, and what you guys do for the community and how you help. So, uh, the shelter has *** 24 hour crisis hotline. We have 260 bed shelters and we also have *** pet kennel for the women and children who come to the shelter to stay with us. So that must, I mean, obviously that takes *** lot of money. So this is *** great way to get out and donate and help and all that great stuff, correct? Yes, we really appreciate Naples Fashion Week and Roberta for, um, supporting the shelter and the Humane Society, and you, you. Are *** part of the shelter as well, right? I am. I’m the vice chair of social, so I help with the committee meetings for the guild, and it’s *** great way to volunteer. How amazing. You do have an amazing, uh, group of people behind you with you for this whole weeklong event. Thank you. Yes, I do. I, I’m proud to support both the, both of the shelters for the animals and the and people, and we have to give *** shout out to Jeff earlier. Um, who, who is, who is Jeff? Oh, my friend Jeff, yeah, he has *** great Ferrari. He has *** great Ferrari that he, he let us borrow for the morning, right? And Ferrari is one of your, uh, big sponsors as well, yeah, so Ferrari is our partner this year for our big runway on April 4th at the Naples Jet Center. So we’re super excited to have the cars incorporated in that runway, which will be really neat, I mean. Ferraris, fur babies, fashion, you can’t go wrong. You can get your tickets.
