A disappointed Robbie Keane says that a 4-0 thumping in Portugal for his Ferencvaros side, which ended the Hungarian club’s European run, was a reality check in terms of where his outfit rank.
Keane had guided Ferencvaros to the knockout phase of the Europa League, their furthest run in Europe in 50 years and had hopes of going on again after a 2-0 win from the home leg of their tie with Sporting Braga, but Braga romped home to a 4-0 win to dump out Ferencvaros.
