The Beverly Theater’s fourth annual celebration of music in film is, according to a press release, “inspired by a certain wildly popular desert music festival we definitely didn’t name this after.”

The 1964 movie that gave Las Vegas its unofficial anthem finds drivers Lucky Jackson (Elvis Presley) and Count Elmo Mancini (Cesare Danova), in town for a grand prix race, competing for the affections of Rusty Martin (Ann-Margret), a swimming instructor at the Flamingo.

It’s playing at 8 p.m. April 14, 1 p.m. April 16 and 7:30 p.m. April 17 at the downtown theater, 515 S. 6th St.

Here’s the rest of the schedule:

  • “Pitch Perfect”: April 1 and 4
  • “Wild Style”: April 2 and 4
  • “The Song Remains the Same”: April 5 and 8
  • “Fantasia”: April 9 and 12
  • “Black Orpheus”: April 23 and 25
