TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Bologna will face Aston Villa, while Porto will challenge Nottingham Forest in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, set to take place in mid-April. Bologna advanced to the quarter finals after eliminating fellow Italian team AS Roma with a tight aggregate score of 5-4 in the round of 16. After drawing 1-1 at home, Bologna caused an upset by winning 4-3 when they played at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa of England also advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating Lille with an aggregate score of 3-0. The team, led by Unai Emery, won both legs, including a 2-0 victory in the second leg at Villa Park, Birmingham, thanks to goals from John McGinn and Leon Bailey.
Nottingham Forest secured their quarter-final spot after overcoming Danish club Midtjylland via a penalty shootout. Forest lost 0-1 in the first leg, then leveled the aggregate to 2-2 in the second leg before winning 3-0 in the penalty shootout.

The first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals is scheduled for April 9, 2026, with the second leg to be played a week later.
