The Coolest Stuff GQ’s Fashion Director Saw at the Fall 2026 Menswear Shows

Véronique’s Last Dance

After nearly 40 years at the helm of Hermès menswear, Véronique Nichanian presented one last breathtaking collection, for fall-winter 2026, before passing the torch to her successor, Grace Wales Bonner. Color, texture, exotic leathers, artful accessories––all done with a touch of camp. It was the ultimate farewell: innovative, surprising, and, yes, even wearable.

ERL Goes Formal

For ERL’s 13th collection, founder Eli Russell Linnetz put his subversive spin on traditional eveningwear, turning flight suits into tuxedos and pairing morning jackets with boxer shorts. The star of the collection might be the brand’s new handcrafted leather loafers, which exemplify the label’s air of careless, comfortable luxury.
