For fans of Peter Jackson’s Extended Editions, these versions of The Desolation of Smaug and The Battle of the Five Armies can be found there as well.
The trilogy can also be found on Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, The Roku Channel, and YouTube. However, the only way you are able to watch them without buying or renting them is to have an HBO Max extension tied to your account.

There are plenty of places to stream The Hobbit and its successor series, The Lord of the Rings. However, if you want to watch it without dealing with extra fees, it’s absolutely best to stick to HBO Max. However, no matter what you choose, there’s no bad option to revisit Middle Earth and experience these films once again.
