Europeans Tried To Give Americans Fashion Advice For The Summer, And It Backfired Immediately


There’s some interesting discourse happening online about European vs. American tourists!

It all started with this thread listing out things Americans shouldn’t wear if they’re going to Europe this summer:

And flip flops, trainers with every outfit, shirts with sports teams, clashing colors/patterns, andddd beach shorts? Alright, IDK about all of that!!

Needless to say, the reaction from Americans was quick. They started pointing out all of the ways to spot European tourists.

“Ok skinny jeans and pumas,” one person clapped back.

Those tweets spiraled into another viral thread where someone asked, “do european tourists know they’re highly identifiable in america as well?”

To which this person pointed out a European “uniform” of sorts: “designer scarf, tight *** skinny jeans, white short sleeve top, smell like cigarettes at any given time ….”
