This 18 month program is a structured development pathway designed to launch careers in a high performing central agency that is shaping Western Australia’s economic, social, and environmental future.
As the State Government’s principal economic and financial advisor, DTF plays a leading role in economic reform, budget analysis, procurement, managing state revenue, and strategic policy development. Graduates will gain meaningful, hands on experience from day one, contributing to complex and high profile government initiatives that support quality services for the Western Australian community.
The program features three six-month rotations, enabling graduates to immerse themselves in different areas of the department and apply their academic learning in real world contexts. Supported development, diverse project work, and access to strong professional and social networks form key elements of the DTF graduate experience.
We are seeking curious, collaborative, and resilient graduates from all disciplines, who are motivated to make a genuine impact.
