A missile—or large debris from an intercepted missile—struck just outside Jerusalem’s Old City between the Zion Gate and the Dung Gate, marking the first impact of this magnitude near the holy sites since the 1967 Six‑Day War. The blast created a massive crater above a playground that, under normal Shabbat conditions, would have been full of children. Miraculously, no one was injured thanks to early sirens.
Joshua recounts walking through the Old City past scars of past wars as fresh debris fell across the Jewish Quarter. Shabbat quiet had just begun when the strike hit the cliffside overlooking the Western Wall area—only about 350 meters from Judaism’s holiest site and dangerously close to Christian and Muslim sacred locations. Residents described widespread shrapnel damage as stone, metal, and fencing were blown apart.
Meanwhile, Paul reports from central Israel where another missile fragment destroyed a home and ignited fires. Neighbors expressed both fear and resolve, emphasizing Israel’s fight for survival against Iran’s aggression. Despite nearly 1,000 missiles fired at Israel since the start of the war, casualties remain relatively low due to Israel’s defense systems—though continuous alerts keep the nation on edge.
International correspondent George Thomas joins from northern Iraq, where Iran‑backed militias are active and firing hundreds of projectiles region‑wide. He details Iran’s shocking launch of two intermediate‑range ballistic missiles—its first ever—capable of reaching as far as Europe. He warns of deep Iranian entrenchment, regional destabilization, and the growing threat of global sleeper cells.
George also shares heartbreaking accounts of Iranians killed or tortured during uprisings, including a 16‑year‑old girl gunned down by the IRGC. He urges prayer not only for Israel but for the suffering people of Iran who are risking their lives to oppose the regime.
