Bookings are now available for a Strip boutique hotel-casino currently undergoing a top-to-bottom rebrand.
Guests can reserve hotel rooms at The Vanderpump Hotel for stays beginning in May, according to Caesars Entertainment, parent company of the 188-room property formerly known as The Cromwell. The first available night on the hotel’s newly launched website is May 29 for $503 plus a $55 per night resort fee.
The hotel renovation is the latest Las Vegas offering stemming from a partnership between Caesars Entertainment and reality television personality Lisa Vanderpump. The two sides have already collaborated on multiple projects in Las Vegas, including Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace hotel-casino, Vanderpump à Paris at the Paris hotel-casino and Pinky’s by Vanderpump at Flamingo hotel-casino.
“Las Vegas has always embraced reinvention, and Lisa’s vision brings a new kind of boutique experience to the heart of the Strip,” said Sean McBurney, chief commercial officer and regional president of Caesars Entertainment, in a statement. “Her work ethic and sharp eye for design are second to none, and we’re fortunate to have that level of talent shaping this hotel.”
The renovation of the property is underway, with plans to update all hotel rooms and suites, as well as the lobby, casino floor and other public areas. A new lounge is also expected to be added.
McBurney said guests “will soon be able to experience her signature style, elegant taste and meticulous design detail through a hotel experience unlike anything else on the Strip.”
The redesign will incorporate custom furnishings and décor developed through Vanderpump Alain, the design brand co-founded by Vanderpump and business partner Nick Alain.
“Taking the next step from restaurateur to hotelier and partnering once again with Caesars Entertainment on another extraordinary project has been such an exciting chapter for me,” Vanderpump said in a statement. “Our vision was to create a room that feels like a true retreat, a calming escape just steps from the energy and excitement of the casino floor. The guest rooms are as beautiful as they are serene.”
The casino and the property’s lone restaurant, Giada, will remain open while hotel rooms are being remodeled, as will Drai’s After Hours nightclub and Interlude lounge.
The resort at Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard has undertaken multiple identities since it opened in 1979 as Barbary Coast. It later operated as Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon following an ownership swap between Boyd Gaming and Harrah’s Entertainment, before reopening as The Cromwell in 2014.
