Live music calendar: March 27–April 5, 2026

Valgur, Booly, Full Color Dream

7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 31
The Shakedown, 1212 N. State St., Bellingham

The Shakedown is hosting a real wild and fun lineup on Tuesday, March 31. The headliner is the catchy but unpredictable hyperpop duo Valgur, all the way from Mexico City. You also get a rare live appearance from the local bedroom pop project Booly, and things kick off with local indie rock faves Full Color Dream.

Stella Standingbear

7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 1
Lincoln Theatre, 712 S. 1st St., Mount Vernon

Stella Standingbear is a Lakota hip hop artist based in Salt Lake City. Her music tackles all kinds of social and inspirational themes, while making sure to keep the beats flowing. She won some big awards lately in the Indigenous hip hop community, and is blowing up on TikTok, so this might be your chance to see her in a smaller venue. She’s in the middle of a big tour and plays the Lincoln Theatre on Wednesday, April 1. There are a bunch of opening acts, highlighted by hip hop from Skagit County’s own Dank Zavala. Check out his album, “Abre Los Ojos,” from last year.

Parlor Greens

7 p.m. Thursday, April 2
Wild Buffalo, 208 W. Holly St., Bellingham

For folks who love music that sits at the boundary of jazz and funk, the trio of organ, guitar and drums is a format that just never gets old, especially with the right musicians. Parlor Greens is a new group in this vein, featuring the infinitely funky guitarist Jimmy James along with organist Adam Scone and drummer Tim Carman. They’ll be at the Wild Buffalo on Thursday, April 2.

Stones Throw Block Party

Noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 4
Stones Throw Brewery, 1009 Larrabee Ave., Bellingham

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Fairhaven’s Stones Throw Brewery is doing what it does best: throw a block party. The first big outdoor music event of the year happens in front of the brewery on Saturday, April 4, and features three groups who are all regular features of their music lineups. The High Mountain String Band play bluegrass starting at noon, the JP Falcon Grady Band takes over with classic rock and folk around 2:30 p.m., then Andy Koch’s Badd Dog Blues Society plays the blues from 5 to 8 p.m.
