Moses Moody sustains scary injury to end Warriors vs. Mavericks – NBC Sports Bay Area & California

Moses Moody made his return to the lineup on Monday against the Dallas Mavericks after missing the past 10 games due to a wrist sprain, but the Warriors fifth-year guard then suffered a gruesome apparent leg injury.

With 1:16 remaining in overtime, Moody stole the ball from Dallas star Cooper Flagg and had nothing but a wide-open floor for a dunk. As he went to take off for the slam, Moody’s legs gave out from under him and he ended up on the floor under the hoop, holding his left knee.

Moody was unable to get up on his own and was taken off the floor on a stretcher. Before going down with the knee injury, Moody was making big shot after big shot and poured in 23 points with three rebounds and three assists.
