Hilton is launching a wide range of new hotels worldwide in 2026, with Greece at the centre of its latest expansion as demand for Mediterranean travel continues to grow. The company plans to open four properties across Athens, Corfu, Santorini and Crete this season, adding to a portfolio that has expanded from one hotel in Greece five years ago to more than 50 today, with a further 20 in development.
The expansion forms part of a broader global rollout spanning Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and the Americas, alongside major renovations and brand debuts. New openings are scheduled throughout spring and early summer 2026, reflecting strong travel demand across both leisure and business destinations.
In Greece, Hilton’s upcoming openings include a mix of luxury resorts and city hotels designed to capture both urban and island travel demand. Key projects include:
- Conrad Athens The Ilisian with 307 rooms and extensive wellness facilities
- Conrad Corfu, a beachfront resort with 136 rooms, many with private pools
- Sandblu Santorini, LXR Hotels & Resorts, a 66-room boutique retreat

Beyond Greece, Hilton is expanding rapidly across Asia Pacific, including several new properties in Thailand and Japan. The company is also introducing new brands into emerging markets, signalling a broader strategy to diversify its portfolio.

Hilton is also strengthening its presence in North America with new openings in destinations such as Napa Valley, San Diego and the Outer Banks, while Canada will see the addition of a new Homewood Suites in Surrey.
Several properties are targeting long-stay and flexible travel demand, with brands such as Home2 Suites and Homewood Suites offering apartment-style accommodation, kitchens and extended-stay amenities. This reflects a shift in traveller preferences towards longer trips and blended business and leisure stays.
Alongside new openings, Hilton is investing in major renovations across key flagship properties. These include upgrades at Hilton Orlando, Hilton Waikoloa Village in Hawaii and the historic Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus, which is set to unveil a comprehensive refurbishment in 2026.
The Istanbul property, which opened in 1955, will introduce redesigned guest rooms, new dining venues and updated leisure facilities while retaining its status as one of the city’s most recognisable hotels.
Other renovation projects include a full redesign of Ka La‘i Waikiki Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts, and upgraded facilities at Hilton Cleveland Downtown, reflecting a wider focus on modernising existing assets alongside new development.
To coincide with the expansion, Hilton Honors members can earn 2,000 bonus points per stay through April 30 under a global promotion designed to encourage travel across its newest properties.

Developed by Hilton’s in-house F&B innovation studio, StiR Creative Collective, to complement DoubleTree’s welcoming hospitality and capture the warmth of a home-cooked meal, the menu centers on classic American comfort dishes and all-day diner staples. This includes a rotating selection of seasonal pies, alongside savory mains such as Chicken Pot Pie, Knife and Fork Caesar and Biscuits and Gravy, as well as breakfast-forward offerings such as Monkey Bread French Toast and piebird quiche. The Cookie Martini, a cocktail inspired by DoubleTree’s iconic chocolate chip cookie is also available as a drink signature.
